Due to COVID-19, people are getting scared and panic has increased to an immense level. It is the need of the time to stay positive amidst the COVID-19 outbreak. We must understand that our thoughtful and positive response can help us to fight it better.
Let me put together some facts that will help you understand that this pandemic is nothing other than a viral disease. The world has seen more drastic situations than this and we have survived them all.
Thus, as a fellow human, I urge all not to panic in this situation and stay optimistic in this situation.
In this article, we will talk about how your immune system works based on your mental state for those infected by this viral disease.
Secondly, we will talk about what we need to do in this situation where we are locked down at home fearing this pandemic disease.
Placebo Effect – For Those Affected By COVID-19
There are two types of effects in every situation. The positive effect is called the placebo effect and negative is called the nocebo effect. Both of these effects are based on our mental state.
In short, if your belief and mental state are positive, the situation will have positive results and vise versa.
Dr. Joe Dispenza has clearly said and proved that our body and especially our immune system works based on our mental state. He has cured about 1000s cancer cases and other chronic diseases.
When your mind thinks and believes in something, your body and your immune system will respond accordingly.

This the need for the time. By social distancing, we are helping to stop the spread of COVID-19. The less it gets spread it will lead to fewer cases, fewer deaths.
You have to be proud that you are helping in not spreading the virus and you are putting your efforts by avoiding social gatherings.
You are part of something great just by not taking going out. When you will positively take this distancing it’s gonna help you stay positive.

Social distancing is the need and you must follow. But keeping a safe distance will not hinder your health.
Please keep a check on your neighbors. Try to make things easier for others. If anyone of your known people who are in the food supply business then you can arrange food supplies.
Many people are elderly and need some food supplies or single parents who cannot leave their children to go out and collect groceries.
This will enhance our and their faiths in humanity and not only this once this COVID-19 is gone, but this essence of humanity will remain till the end.
Eat, Drink and Live Healthily
Currently, we need our immune systems to be in great functioning and hence avoid taking foods or drinks that decrease our immune system.
Keep more intake of water. Use boiled water and drink it cooling on room temperature. Avoid cold things as they are more likely to develop flu symptoms.
Maintain a healthy lifestyle and wash hands ore often. We have been said this even before this outbreak. Don’t eat anything without being washed thoroughly.
Spend Happy Time With Family
Usually, during normal days, we often don’t get time with our families. This time the universe/god or whatever you call has given this opportunity. So, use it wisely.
Helping wife or partner in household chores, spending time with each other, watching movies, playing in the backyard with kids, etc play a great role in family bonding.
Cooking for your wife as she has been serving you all these days. Making our home full of fun. Playing board games, video games, play station, competing with your friends and family members.
Cleaning your closet which is stuffed and a mess since days, laundry your clothes and whatnot.
There is so much to do in these days that we always thought to do if we had time. Do it.
It’s time to keep resentment aside and call your parents whom you haven’t checked out in years. Spend time with your loved ones with humbleness.
Quality time with your kids who used to sleep when you left for the job and were asleep when you returned.
You don’t know how blessed you will feel if you spend the time with this mentality.
Refrain From Too Much of News And Social Media
I received a message before a few days on my Whatsapp messenger. See the image below:
It states that the Corona Virus or COVID-19 has been mentioned in media and news for about 1.1 billion times. Just imagine the amount of negativity it might have put to people’s minds.
Hearing all day about the negativity and death of people, our mind has gone into a negative state. It seems like our minds have accepted the thought that it is a virus that is gonna kill us all and it does so. You invite someone then he/she is gonna come.
Similarly, hearing all this news about the chronic nature and deaths, our immune system has started diminishing. So when you are getting affected by simple flu, you are more prone to even fight that back and making it severe.
Let me tell you one of my incidents. I was living in the Middle East in 2011. I had a room partner who belonged to Pakistan.
During that time there was political turmoil in Pakistan. Thus, my room partner who was a father of 4 children and used to see News for about 4 hours a day.
After a few days, hearing all those negativity and shitty things, my mind got so frustrated. I couldn’t find peace anywhere and in anything. I couldn’t take it more and then I shifted my room.
Hearing too much negativity makes you so dull that at times people feel to kill themselves. So I request you all to just limit your time to see news and social media. Secondly, don’t spread any news to others without confirming.
Indulge in Prayers
I am a believer and believe that when nothing works prayers work the most. From the inspection of humanity till today prayer has brought miracles.
Prayers have the power of positivity and build hope. When you pray, you have a belief in the power of something more powerful than humans.
Make a habit of praying every morning and evening. Don’t worry. Give your worries to the higher authority and sleep calmly.
Be patient, be positive and just keep your mind state proper. Don’t let the nocebo effect hinder your immunity and keep safe.
